TIME FRAME 

 

 Our standard turnaround time is 5-7 business days after order confirmation and artwork approval. Some specialist products could take up to 10 business days. You will be advised on the production time for your your order with your estimate.

 

In some cases we may be able to accommodate a quicker turnaround time, at an additional cost.  

Jobs requiring artwork set up will receive a proof within 48 hours of payment/ deposit receipt.  After the first artwork proof, two revisions with minor changes are included in the initial artwork cost. Any additional or major changes will be charged at $60 per hour.   

 

If you require a faster turnaround or immediate artwork processing there will be 20% premium added to the order total. 

 

Artwork must have final approval or print ready artwork submitted by 9:30am for that day to be considered a production day.  

PAYMENT 

 

On acceptance of your estimate from Sign Banner Print, payment must be made in full on all orders before we begin artwork set-up or move your job into production. If we do not receive payment your job will be put on hold until received.  

 

Sign Banner Print accepts payment in the form of cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. Credit card payments can be made online, in store or by phone, once you have received your invoice.

ARTWORK PROOFING  

 

Before your project is sent to print Sign Banner Print will email you a proof.  

 

Your proof will show your artwork sized to scale, so it's the closest representation of how the items you order will look. We do our best to review each proof for errors, but it is crucial that you check the artwork carefully for errors as we will only print what you approve.  

 

Please check your proof for: 

  • Correct Content    

  • Spelling 

  • Color 

  • Size

  • Proportions

  • Spacing  

 

PDF proofs are not to be considered as color-accurate. There are slight changes in color representation between different device screens. If you are concerned about color accuracy you should request a physical proof of your job before the final run is completed.  

 

If you notice an error after you've approved and submitted your art proof, call or email us as soon as possible! While we can't guarantee anything, the sooner you contact us, the better chance we have to try to fix the mistake before your items are printed. 

 

AFTER YOUR ARTWORK IS APPROVED AND PRINTED, SIGN BANNER PRINT DOES NOT ASSUME FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR REPRINTING IF ANY ERRORS (YOURS OR OURS) ARE DISCOVERED ON THE FINAL PRODUCT.  

SUBMITTED FILES  

FILE TYPE

We require that you send a PDF file with embedded or outlined fonts. If you are creating artwork using word, publisher or any other software, please make sure that you are using a CMYK color system and have file set to the appropriate size, including bleed (see bleed section for more information). Then save/export as a PDF before sending the artwork to us.  

 

In addition to a PDF, you may also send the file in the following types: EPS, AI, INDD. Please see file type descriptions below for more information.  

COLOR PROCESS 

Sign Banner Print, like many printers print in CMYK color process. 

 

If you send us an RGB (used for web applications) file, there is a chance that a color shift may occur and you may not be satisfied with your job. Therefore, you should always start and finish your designs in CMYK color mode. 

FILE RESOLUTION 

We only accept 300 dpi files and no less. If your file is low resolution we will contact you. Low resolution files may be printed as is or will be placed on hold until we receive new files, slowing down your turn around time. 

 

Please note that images saved from websites or search engine results have been compressed to improve website performance and may be low resolution. We recommend using vector graphics and high resolution JPEG files to create your artwork. You can purchase high resolution stock images on websites such as Shutterstock or Bigstock as various other free stock photo sources.  

BLEED 

For projects with color or background running all the way to the edge (no white border) we require a bleed. This is print/color that goes beyond the edge of where your project will be cut at it’s final size. The bleed area will be trimmed off but gives us space to account for movement of the paper and ensures that no un printed edges occur in the final product. 

In order to create the desired finished look and the quality of the final product, please keep all text at least 0.125" inside the cut-line and include a 0.125” bleed on all 4 edges of your artwork. 

 

For example 5”x7” postcard should be set to 5.25”x7.25”.  

FILES WITH BORDERS 

While Sign Banner Print accepts files with borders, if the border is too close to the cut  line, it may be cut off-center slightly. We cut through many sheets at a time, so watch your borders or avoid using borders in your design to prevent any unwanted results.
